An excellent hotel that has been recently refurbished. My wife and I were driving back from visiting friends and stopped in Llandrindod to have a coffee in the hotel.
We were exhausted and enquired how much a room would be and the hotel were prepared to reduce their rate substantially as we arrived at 11pm.
The room was a little dated, but scrupulously clean and the breakfast was exceptional including home-made vegetarian Glamorgan sausages.
We had a pleasant walk round the town's rock park and lake in the morning and continued on our way much refreshed.
