Wow! What can you say about a hotel like this? Just WHERE do you start? The view over the Firth of Clyde is fabulous. Imagine wakening up in the morning and looking out at that view over to Ailsa Craig, or "Paddy's Milestone" as it is nicknamed locally. Every single curling stone in the world is made from granite quarried on Ailsa Craig.
I am not a golfer but if I were then what a thrill it would be to play on the Hotel's course, one of the eight which regularly host the British Open. How many hotels in the world can boast a facility like that?
Turnberry is a 5 star hotel in every sense of the word. The rooms are fabulous, the food great and the service first class.
The hotel is ideally located for a touring holiday with lots of fabulous scenery and places to see. This is the heart of Burns Country and all around you can find places connected to one of Scotland's most famous sons.
Turnberry is expensive but then again this type of service does not come cheap and you get what you pay for.
