The Quality Hotel Perth is an elegant Victorian hotel in the hub of social activity, with its Scottish fare and fine whiskies. Bedrooms have television and tea and coffee making facilities. An excellent Perthshire touring base in good golfing country, close to a number of whisky distilleries and the Caithness glass factory.

I stayed in this hotel with family and friends for 3 nights dinner bed and breakfast. I am 22 and i shared a room with my friend who is also 22. On arrival we were allocated to room 80. This was at best the size of a cardboard box and looked like the ceiling was ready to fall in. We went down to reception to complain (as we asked for a large room) and then got allocated room 68 on the 2nd floor. This was in a bit better condition. On the friday night me and my friend were sleeping only to be woke up by a huge and very violent fight going on in the room next door (room 67), we were abosoluty terrified as a man seemed to be beating someone up in the room, this ended in "the victim" running out the fire exit and the other man stomping about his room for about an hour! In the morning we went down to reception to complain about it and the informed us that the COUPLE were checking out...we then realised it was a woman getting beat up by a man! Absolutly shocking! After that i just never wanted to go back to the room but unfortunatly had to stay for another night. The breakfast buffet was COLD and constantly running out of supplies which we had to ask to be replenished! On the sunday (checking out day) my mum was in the shower in her room (room 100 on the 3rd floor) and a hotel porter walked in on her in the shower!!!! To which he shouted "you shouldnt even be in this room" ... my mum went to complain and the manager just laughed! Me and my friend checked out and the manager told us that we hadnt paid which we told them we paid by switch when we arrived!!!!!!!!!!! We were then told we had bought a glass of wine under our room (which we hadnt) and continued to argue with them until they said they woiuld have to wait and check at the bank!!!! My other 2 friends on arrival got allocated a room with ONE single bed in it.... (a single bed for 2 people???) they then got allocated another room which was ok. This hotel needs to be knocked down.... its AWFUL...cracks all over the walls, floor boards and sqeaking everywhere, tables are on a slant!!! THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED, AND I CANT EXPLAIN ENOUGH HOW MUCH EVERYONE NEEDS TO AVOID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!
