This hotel is in an ideal location and everything about it was very good. Staff were pleasant and helpful (everyone spoke excellent English).
The room was clean and smart with a good shower And the buffet breakfast (which you could choose to eat in the pretty courtyard) was generous and very fresh.
As for Munich I would recommend it as the perfect destination for a city break It's different enough to be interesting but familiar enough for you to get your bearings quickly enabling you to get the most from a short stay.
Residents are friendly and welcoming with English widely spoken. Food is good and reasonably priced. The many parks, squares, and fountains give pleasant oasis of calm and while tourists are welcome the city is not over "Touristy". More proud of its traditions, history, and heritage and keen to share them.
I will definitely go back to both the city and the hotel.
