Well I needn't have been, it was lovely, just a minute walk to a beautiful, clean beach with plenty of sunbeds and brollies at any time, hence not the need for an enormous pool (which one review commented on).
Our basic self catering apartment was clean with a sea view. It was cleaned every day but Sunday and we had clean linen and towels changed twice. (I only change my bedding at home once a week, so there wasn't a problem there!).
The poor guy who took our luggage nearly ran all the way to our room, and even though our air con wasn't working at first, by the time we had a drink it was fine.
Georgioupolis is great with loads of eating and drinking places all spotless and the Fereniki buffet for 3 Euros for breakfast and 5 Euros for dinner was great value, all the food looked wonderful, was hot and plenty of it.
I am sad to think other people might not have enjoyed their holiday but please make your own mind up when you go having read some of the reviews, I wanted to change my holiday, but my ever positive husband told me not to worry, how glad I am I would have missed an fantastic place.
I can't wait to go back, soon, it was lovely lovely and the people are so friendly and helpful and want you to go back.
