we are a 20 year old couple and were looking for a relaxing holiday but with plenty of things to do within walking distance. the saradari apartments were perfect for us! stavros ran the apartments and was so helpful and would sort out any problems! the pool and bar were perfect for relaxing, you could order food or drinks whenever you wanted. the accommodadion was perfect for a couple but would be a squeeze for 4! we stayed in a second storey apartment and had a view of the sea from our bedroom and balcony! hersonissos centre is about a 10 min walk with plenty of shops bars restaurants etc. there is also a local supermarket and beach very close to the apartments so you dont have to walk into the centre all the time! the apartments are basic but very clean, towels and bedding was changed a couple of times within the week and apartment cleaned nearly every day. if you are looking for luxury you will have to look elsewhere and spend alot more money! we enjoyed hiring a quad bike and visiting the 3 hilltop villages for drinks and dinner! we would definately go back to these apartments!

my family and i stayed at the saradari for two weeks and it was one of the best holidays ive had. yes the apartments are compact but is that what you really go on holiday for? The short walk to the beautiful beaches and town, and if desired a short bus ride away is the island at your finger tips.Stavros is the making of the saradari, he made us feel very welcome and the lovely people that we met too!bar food was always available as well as a great atmosphere.the cleaners were very good,every day except sundays.not ideal for kids as there is not much for them to do. really looking forward to our next few holidays there.(definately without the kids!!)surely a must for the more relaxing couple.

Just come back from Saradari and first think to do was to post my comments. I had a wondrefull time there with my girlfriend, very clean place with a very friendly staff that made our holidays unforgetable. There are some incoviniences of course like the self catering facilities and the area of the room(small for a family but great for a couple) but you are booking a budget holiday and this place its definately worth its money and more. Great food great holidays. definately going back there again!!!

The most relaxed and friendliest apartment I have ever been to.
As a group of ten girls this apartment was fantastic for our needs. Yes the kitchen facilities were simple but with such fantastic resteruants in Hersonissos this can be easily overlooked.
The beach is only a short walk away and most days we had the pool to ourselves. The cleaning staff were great and the air con was so strong I had to sleep in a jumper!
This is not the kind of place for rowdy teenagers however. Out of respect for Stavros and the other guests, we ensured that our late night returns were quiet ones. Night life in Hersonissos and Malia is excellent!
Good bar food, well stocked bar, fantastic weather and beautiful setting of a typical greek apartment. We were pleasantly suprised for the price we paid and will definately be going back next year!

As it was a late booking we did not expect too much but what a shock very very very very basic. I am glad there was no more than two in our party. In the main room there was a double bed and a single - the double was pushed against a wall so I had to climb over my wife to go to the loo in the night. The fourth bed was in the kitchenette so you could lay in bed and put the kettle on in the morning. The bathroom was so small when you had a shower you washed the toilet at the same time, and when you sat on the toilet you had one foot in the shower tray. The complex was lacking in a little late night entertainment and also some soft furnishing in the bar to sit on. On a good point Stavaros was very friendly and a great (sounds just like "Borat")

we were dumped by t. cook from the marni village, and booked in to the above, with no idea of where we were going to end up, thank you stavros and your wonderfull staff for alovely time. it is basic here, not for older children, great for couples, young and old. one thing i would rate 10 out of 10, the breakfast , will go again.

i've read comments on these apartments and i can assure you it is a lovely place i was just re booking when i read them and i am astounded that people complained ,i have to say stavros was an absolute gem and the girls who clean the apartments were fantastic its very clean and you are well catererd for yes the apartments are small but not that small and there's so much to do and the welcome so great that you dont spend much time in the apartment any way it not a place realy for lots of kids or 18 year olds but its brilliant and i'm going back a.s.a.p

Well when you go cheap you don't know what to expect, but here you get more than you bargained for. The staff are great in particular Stavros he was a gem, rooms are kept well and food on site is good. Stavros wont close the bar till everyone goes to bed. They cater for you to have the best time possible. To be honest I will be going back and recommend you give it a try.

Well I didn't expect the "Hilton" knowing it was budget accommodation but I did expect it to be better than it was!
The water was only hot for 2 days in one week, and when you got in the shower which did not cover you with the water, I had to stand right next to the wall to get any water over me, and then it went cold in minutes. The bathroom door would not shut at all, so if you are shy then not much good.
In the brochure it said satellite TV, but we could only get 2 channels on, and it also said piped music in rooms, but it did not work. The walls were very thin we could hear people in the bathroom on the toilet above us. And it is on the flight path so planes flying over most of the night. Having said that the apartments were clean with regular maid service and ours had a nice view over the pool, the staff were very friendly and the weekly barbeque was very filling with good food.
The resort was good with great beaches and views, the bars, and restaurants served very good food and not expensive, all the places we went to they were very friendly except for one supermarket where the assistant was very impatient and had no customer service skills!
Would get a villa next time.

The apartments were basic. It’s a small complex and it's full of young people, not suitable for families or kids as it can be very noisy at night time. The owners at the bar were very strict about noise to us young people coming in at night and were moaning at the smallest thing.
One night he even came up to our apartment banging on the door to tell us to shut up, I wouldn’t mind but we weren’t even that loud.
Overall best holiday we’ve had. I’d go back to those apartments just because we met so many people and had a laugh with everyone.
