I took my partner here for his 30th birthday and we had a fantastic time. Hotel staff are very friendly and the food was beautiful. We stayed in the top deck room which I paid extra for; it had a kingsize bed, water, chocolates, cd player and the most beauiful view from... more

A few of us stayed here when we went to explore Scotland and well you could not have a more beautiful setting than Loch Leven. It really does have a great location looking out onto the Loch. The rooms were suitable enough; we did lots of walking so it was nice to relax in... more

is a great, family friendly hotel in a beautiful setting on Loch Leven. The food in the hotel restaurant was good (we ate in the hotel restaurant twice). The swimming pool was great and very quiet when we were there. The rooms were okay but our bathroom was a bit dated and... more

Great family hotel
We have just returned from a short break in Scotland where we used this hotel as our base. My husband, two children and I shared a family room which was tastefully and comfortably furnished. The kids had their own partitioned space with TV which gave us both some privacy. The food was good and was included in the deal that we booked via the internet. This hotel is particularly good for families with it's own swimming pool, large and comfy seating area complete with kids games, and easy atmosphere. There was a ranger on site most mornings who gave us helpful and accurate information on local walks etc. The isolation of the hotel was a welcome break for us "townies". What a great veiw of the loch we had from our window. Overall we found the hotel clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the setting ideal and the menu in the restaurant good and varied. We will definitely be back in the future.
Jaw Dropping Beauty on a Sunny Day
We stayed at Isles of Glencoe in early June 2005. Our rate was 100 pounds but included dinner and breakfast for our family of four. (We got this rate off their web site...do a google search for this website as I could not find anywhere to match this rate). The place is an unbelievable bargain at this rate and you will not be disappointed with the surroundings or service. The food was much better than I expected and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. The room was clean and attactive but would not be rated as luxurious. The room was quiet with bun beds for our children. If the weather is good, the walk around the loch is memorable. My wife and I agree that this was a place that we will return to and we can only hope for a repeat performance from the weatherman.
