We stayed for an overnight Saturday to Sunday.
We were very pleased with our room. It had been refurbished to a nice standard with contemporary furnishings. There was a flat screen TV on the wall. The room was spacious with a double and a single bed.
The bathroom was nicely decorated and very adequate.
We used the leisure facilities and found them to be clean. The pool was a nice temperature and the spa bath, sauna and steam room were just right. Despite it being a wet weekend the facilities were never too busy.
We walked into town to eat. It is only a short walk to the centre of town.
The breakfast on Sunday was efficient with the restaurant catering for wedding guests who had stayed over. The service was prompt and the staff focussed. on ensuring that nobody was waiting very long. The food was hot and was quickly topped up on the buffet .
All in all we enjoyed our stay. Staff were polite and we overheard some being very informative to other guests.
