This hotel is a great stopover if you're on your way through Calais or if you're there for a shopping trip. It is ideally situated very close to the Eurotunnel terminal right next to the Cite d'Europe Shopping Centre.
We tend to holiday in the French Alps and find this a good place to stay if we get a late crossing after work.
The rooms are huge and have sliding partitions so that you can divide the room in two which is great if you have kids! The rooms also have a tiny kitchenette and a small bathroom. We've always found the rooms to be extremely clean and well maintained and very competitively priced.
There is also a bar and the connecting Hotel Ibis is ideal if you want to eat in a restaurant.
The catering in the Suitehotel is very much do it yourself. We've always eaten breakfast there and this consists of a Continental breakfast pack with youghurt, rolls, ham, cheese and juice.
We will be staying there again in August and October.
