Very nice hotel
Stayed in this hotel as watching Oasis in Aberdeen. Found the hotel very easily and found the car park which we were worried about reading the reviews but found a park easily and would say it held about 25 - 30 car without a problem. This is the same as all other Premier Inns with the bedroom been in a excellent tidy condition with everything you need. The Bed and shower were lovely and the room was immaculate. We went to the hotel bar before the gig and the service and drink was excellent, didnt eat in the restuarant... more
Comfy stay, sour faced staff
stayed for a couple of days while touring up in aberdeen. Hotel is comfy rooms are basic but functional, bit small for two people sharing. However staff are dreadful, torn faced and not friendly in slightest, in particuler the older waiter who scowls at you for coming down after 9am for breakfast. on the whole though you will get a good nights sleep for the price inc parking, just dont expect smiles from the staff
OK for a Budget Hotel
Stayed here one night on business. The hotel was ok. The room was clean and tidy, and had everything you could want for a 1 night stay. The reception staff where helpful but a bit dour. The restaurant was a bit messy, the staff could have worked a bit harder to clean the empty tables up. Choices of food on the menu where good but a bit overpriced for what you got. Would stay here again if I had to.
Every night was a challenge to park the car!
Stayed from Monday through to Wed night. When I arrived there were a number of cars queuing to get into the undergroud car park only to be sent on their way by the attendant. When he came to me he said that there was a tiny space where someone had parked across two bays otherwise it was Morrisons carpark up the road until 8am! I only had a small hire car and managed to squeeze in between two pillars. The attendant was well impressed and put a couple of cones alongside the car to avoid any damage. The hotel itself is typical PTI and the... more
Pretty good for a budget hotel
I stayed here for several nights. The bar was being rebuilt which was an inconvenience - but the manager was very apologetic - and certainly the place looks a lot fresher. The overall service isn't great - I had a few issues that took some time to resolve - but at leat they were addressed eventually. My main problem however related to the lack of parking. The car park is very crammed and there aren't enough spaces at times. I was pointed in the direction of the nearby supermarket car park which didn't feel particularly safe - especially at... more
Decent enough stay
Stayed here with my brother as we were with the band Macfloyd who were playing in the Lemon Tree club which is directly across from the hotel. It is only a short walk to one end of Union Street and going the other way it isn’t too far to walk to the Beach Boulevard promenade area and also within easy reach of Aberdeen’s football ground, Pittodrie. There is limited enclosed free parking and when we arrived mid afternoon there was plenty of spaces but I think if you arrive later you may struggle for a place. This is a “Metro”... more
Bloody Seagulls!!!
The hotel itself is quite good as budget hotels go - the room was nice and clean, large superkingsize bed, modern decor etc, as you would expect...... but the bed was really uncomfortable, there was no aircon, so we had the windows open to try to cool the room down.....and consequently kept awake nearly all night with the sound of seagulls squawking!!! If they fitted aircon, you could keep the windows shut and perhaps the noise wouldn't be such a problem. Parking is also a nightmare. There were about 7-8 spaces in the car... more
As expected
As per usual the Premier Travel Inn was the choice for our trip. Apart from being good value you always know what you're gonna get with them. A good warm comfortable room in a convenient place. A 5 minute walk from the city centre and just a little bit further from the beach, this hotel provided the perfect epicentre for our visit. Friendly staff, clean rooms and very efficient check-in process. Only 2 things wrong - we waited an hour for our meal in the restaurant (but they were short-staffed so I would assume this isn't the norm) and... more
Great Budget Hotel
Only a short walk from Union Street, the staff are very friendly! Food was not too bad either! Rooms were adequate, comfy beds, very little noise to disturb my sleep.
Good hotel
About 5 to 10 minutes walk from centre of town. Rooms are very modern and the beds most comfortable. Parking is below the hotel and exit is by barrier (you get coin from reception). Food limited but okay. This hotel is fine for an overnight stay. I would return.
