Ramside Hall Classic Hotel & Golf Club

It was really refreshing to stay at this hotel!! The rooms were lovely and big, slightly old fashoned but with quality wooden furniture and not horrible 80's sideboards! The bed was firm but soft, we had lovely views of the grounds and some cute little grouse-type birds. The food in the restaurant was absolutely first class with impeccable service from the waiters and waitresses who were discreet and efficient simultaneously. We ended up having four full courses because it was just so good. The wine selection was great value for money, the menu was so good we had trouble deciding what to order and the breakfast we had the next morning (in hindsight we didn't really need it after such a great dinner but we had already ordered it) was extremely well cooked - it was great to see homemade hash browns on the plate and properly cooked eggs and bacon. The bathrooms was big and very modern, there was an iron and ironing board and fans were available if you needed them as it was quite humid that day. Really great and the service we received was brilliant. Thank you!
