A friendly welcome dispelled our disappointment at the unprepossessing appearance of this hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well designed. (I was impressed to see that all the light bulbs were long life.) The menus offerd a good choice (though not too much for vegetarians. The food was of very good quality and the portions were very generous indeed.
