excellent location, great value for money

the hotel is in an excellent position, very central, just a few minutes from the main places. rooms are clean and confortable. we didn't have breakfast in hotel (a bit too expensive). very useful the parking for our car.
Unexceptional but good value and location

Near the train station. Wifi in rooms is unreasonably expensive, especially given the nearby internet cafes. Wifi should be free. No comfortable chair in room. Shower has poorly designed partial enclosure resulting in a flood on the floor after each shower. Only a single flimsy, easy-to-break, plastic cup provided. Mattress good. Doors to rooms closed with a loud bang such that late-night guests arriving at rooms easily awake other guests. The staff was helpful, and the room was clean. At 50 Euros, it was a good value.
Convenient and clean

A good hotel. The location was excellent , the rooms were small but very clean and all the staff were really helpful and courteous. We bought wine from Monoprix and the young lady on reception even gave us a corkscrew and wine glasses to take up to our room! We caught bus number 23 from the airport to Gare SNCF which is a short walk away. This local bus only costs 1 Euro per journey but the airport bus costs 4 Euros. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice for a long weekend.

We had just 1 night in Nice and found the Nice New York Hotel a central and good place to stay. No frills, just a good "home" while strolling around the beautiful city.
Good 3 star hotel

Easy walk from the train station. Our room had a great balcony to watch the street and a peekaboo view of the water. Staff was quite helpful.

This hotel has a fabulous location right on the corner of Nice's main street, although not on the water (water is about 10 long blocks away). The water and market are definitely in walking distance, but I point this out because many people prefer to stay on the water or at least see the water from their hotel when visiting the Riviera (don't stay here in that case). Dear guest, Further to the time you took to review your stay, I am also taking some time to answer your remarks: - The hotel location is well mentioned: at the corner of Jean Medecin, right in the centre: never we claimed to be at the sea edge. - Concerning the room the lobby and the bar, it's a 3 star hotel and all the standards are respected (as per a Best Western hotel, everything is checked yearly in addition of our own improvements). - The shampoo, soap, linen & towels are changed when needed of course. I'm sorry that your stay didn't meet your expectations & if there was a special point you would like to check with us, it would be a pleasure: as a matter of facts, maybe you consider some other hotels more adequate but these ones are 4 star hotels & it's difficult to compare them. A good experience in Nice

Excellent location, near train station and main points of the city that you can reach walking. Good staff, very helpfull. Dificult to reach by car, with a too little parking area (only 6 cars), that you must pay as an aditional service. Internet service with one PC in the hotel lobby (I don't know if there is WiFi service in the rooms). Breakfast not included in price. Rooms without security box (aditional service with extra cost).

set in the heart of nice, a good hotel. restaurants abound and transport easily available to get to all areas of nice and within france. the staff were were excellent and very helpful
