Kyriad Le Lausanne Hotel

My girlfriend and I spent 4 days in Nice at the Kyriad Lausanne hotel. The hotel was a 3 star but came up short of what we expect from a 3 star hotel.
The rooms were clean but were very small. The bathroom had a hand-held shower and next to no extractor fan so you had a shower then a sauna. Tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room for one night only. Once used they were not replenished, so we filled our pockets with tea bags at breakfast and bought a pint of long-life milk from the corner shop.
The hotel was in a great position both for the beach and the train station.
Nice itself was lovely sunny through the day and warm at night. The food was a bit hit and miss. Stay away from the restaurants that offer a 3 course for a set price, they were garbage.
Take the hop on-hop off tourist bus to get your bearings, it was quite good. Nice is an excellent place to base yourself to see the likes of Monaco and Cannes. The trains are quite regular and cheap, I think it was about €8 to Monaco and €12 to Cannes, both were worth the visit.
Anyway we had a really good holiday in Nice and would recommend it.
