we stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and the celebration of my wife's 50th. what a pleasure this was. Living on a mini budget, can you imagined our joy when we were upgraded to a sea view room.
The staff were most helpful and attentive. We had some of the most wonderful culinary cuisine during our stay, eating most nights in the brassiere. The Valentine's night celebration was a joy to behold. It was also the celebration of our engagement, every corner of the dining room was covered with food only a king would dream of. The pianist played and admired the beautiful ladies while my wife conveniently place me with my back to the room. Only a little dancing to smoochy music was missing.
Cant wait to go back if our mini budget will allow.

This is a lovely hotel, very luxurious and worthy of your money. The reception staff and concierge were very helpful. Our room was spacious with a fantastic shower that will blast you clean! Its funny that we too had a dodgy shower door that caused water to flood out into the bathroom. So many reviews say this and yet the hotel has never fixed the problem.
Breakfast spread was excellent, but of course you should get in there early for the full gastronomic delight. The location was good if you want a quiet holiday. Plenty of good restaurants nearby with friendly staff and delicious food. We caught a bus every day to the sandy beaches about 30 - 40 minutes away. The nearer beaches are rocky, good if you don't like sand.
For a mad evening out, there is a mini Ibiza strip with bars and clubs just minutes from the top of town. Totally unexpected but good fun and a chance to see the locals enjoying themselves. We loved Malta and I'm sure most people would.

The Hotel first opened in early 2007 so as you would expect everything is in perfect condition.
There is a roof top pool to relax by during the day or if you would prefer a short walk, then there are many sunbathing locations around St Julian’s Bay itself. The Villa restaurant which is part of the Hotel offers great food and service to match.
I would recommend trying the "Peperoncino" Restaurant, please ask for "Anton" who prepared such a great meal for us on our last day at St Julian’s, where you will enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere overlooking the bay.
A visit to "The City of London" bar is highly recommended as we enjoyed meeting and talking to the owner "Julian Borg.”
The Hotel in our opinion is the best on the island; the rooms are excellent quality with a modern bathroom. Facilities include, Spa on 2nd Floor, Hair Salon on "0" which I used several times during my stay, ask for "Lorraine.” A stylish clothes shop also on "0" as well as Diamonds International and a Car and Boat Hire service.
We are leaving today with fond memories of the Island and its people and will be back to visit again soon.

Hotel and staff were great at this hotel, but lifts were very annoying, everybody complaing about waiting for 1 of the 4 lifts, rooms were great everything we needed, bathroom was great. We had sea view room but first room we did not see a lot and they moved us next morning but if someone had told me that the sun was only on your balcony up till 11 in the morning i would rather of have a room overlooking the car park, so i could have the sun all day. but then there would be nothing to look at so it depends what u want, sun or shade but watching the action from your balcony awkward coz we did enjoy the fireworks from our balcony in the evening and watching the locals trying to park their cars. Breakfast there was a lot to choose from but sometimes the sausages and bacon was cold if you went in and it was at a quiet time and they had been there for some time. The only other problem was you went in at their back entrance which is at the front of the promenade with a slope that can get on your nerves, it seems to me like a back to front hotel but the actual cleaniness and look of the hotel is magnificent and i found the staff friendlier than the locals oh also the entertainment is not everyones cup of tea, depends if u like organs and guitarists which can be boring i really dont think it would suit children its more for buisness and people who want the very quiet life with nice rooms
