Jurys Cardiff Hotel

Booked through late rooms so the price was roughly half that of the hotel "rack rate", and was therefore "reasonable".
I would have been extremely disappointed if I had paid full price for this room.
Classed as an "Executive" room, it was quite small, and the furniture and decor were "tired" and well worn.
There is a great deal of building work going on at the rear of the hotel due to the demolition of the former ice rink, so a room overlooking that side of the building would not be peaceful.
There is a good restaurant and bar within the hotel, and they have good conferencing rooms. The staff are extremely helpful.
They do offer free car parking, but this is limited, although there is a large multi-storey car park opposite the hotel.
The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is right opposite the Cardiff International Arena and makes a perfect hotel if you are attending a concert there.
It is right in the heart of Cardiff within easy walking distance to all the shops and attractions, Cardiff Castle, Museum, Millennium Centre, etc.
The local pubs clubs and restaurants are ample, varied and vibrant!
Would recommend this hotel just for its central location.
