I did not stay at this hotel, however I did use the restaurant and found the food very expensive, for example I ordered a rack of lamb with potatoes and vegetables. I waited over one hour to be presented with three very small fatty ribs half a slice of potato and a spoonful of spinach, I was charged £16.50 and when i complained I was was just told that my complaint would be noted. I left the hotel hungry and disgusted.

This was a pleasant hotel. The staff were very polite and friendly the room was well maintained and clean, prices are very good, the sauna was clean and private, food was a good price and plenty of it. Very hard working staff, I will certainly book here again. The Hotel is opposite the swallow falls and you can walk from the front entrance across the road and enter the walk for a small fee of £1.50.

Very high standard of comfort and consideration all round. Food particularly excellent, and served with beautiful riverside views from restaurant windows. Rooms comfortable and clean. The setting is both accessible and secluded (with off-road private parking for motorists). The friendly rabbits are charming!

You will find the lcation of this hotel difficult to beat. Fantastic views of the river and scenic backdrop from bedrooms and restaurant with wonderful land for walks and extremely peaceful.Set off the road so it was very quiet, with plenty of car parking. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and spacious (we had a Superior room). Food in the main was excellent served in a comfortable restaurant; a bistro is also available.Photographs do not do it justice. Also very handy to visit many sites and attractions
