The hotel was very nice, clean and modern - we had a suite and got towelling robes and slippers. The decor is just modern, I wouldn't say there is a particular character to it. Excellent cooked buffet breakfast.
Very close to the town centre. A very pleasant place to stay.
The service was brilliant too - our suite was a free upgrade (but don't count on that, obviously!)
There is a very nice bakery and cafe in the hotel.
