Situated quite a way out of the city centre -although there is a bus stop outside the hotel, you must first catch a bus to get to the tube and then it's another journey before you arrive in town.
This large hotel was extremely glitzy with rooms of a high standard.
The reception and downstairs areas are almost palatial and it has numerous restaurants and bars. Furthermore the hotel was more than value for money, as you can find it for a great price on the Internet.
The breakfast was amazing - all you can eat hot and cold buffet with a huge choice.
The main problem was with the staff and the location.
When we arrived we had a very frosty greeting which got only more frosty as the weekend progressed - despite the fact that we were just two females and not a 'raucous mob' (of which there were quite a few in Prague - hen and stag nights aplenty).
The service and welcome was very poor. However we did feel that the reception in Prague generally was less than welcoming - possibly due to the large amount of English stag and hen do's held there!
In the main I would recommend this hotel but it is quite far out of town and getting back at night is difficult, and expensive by taxi - there is nothing in the area surrounding the hotel to do.
