We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Staff are very friendly, and rooms were spotless. Try to get a room to the front of the building - the view over the canal is breathtaking.
Breakfast was plentiful, but we enjoyed it more the 2nd day when we had it in our room via room service - I’ve never seen so much scrummy food and pastries on one trolley! Great value for money in a very pleasant hotel!

This hotel was fantastic. I sorted everything out by myself over the phone and internet and went there by myself, whilst the other half was on a hen night!
The entrance is white marble effect and there are two lifts, the room was spotless and had a fantastic view of the river. It was well up to a three/ four star UK standard.
They arranged a taxi to pick me up from the airport which was a new VW where the driver was waiting for me.
The only thing that was wrong was that the safe was broken and that meant that I left all of my valuables in the hotel safe at reception. I know what you think (idiot) but they were great and nothing went missing at all.
The breakfast was great too with fruit juices bacon meats crusty bread etc.
Location was good, it’s about a 12 minute walk to the centre (astronomical clock), and not once did I use a taxi or tram.
Would stay again, if you are looking for a clean mid range hotel that the guides say there aren’t any of ... Then this is it.
