Well Ancient Nessebar is beautiful and during the day despite the hustle and bustle has a wonderful atmosphere- sightseeing and mingling with tourists. The St Stephan Church opposite the Hotel is truly beautiful. The hotel is small and friendly and during the day having coffee outside overlooking the sea and amphitheatre is wonderful. But the tranquillity and beauty is spoilt at night despite the double glazing by the boom boom boom all through the night of noise from the Old Passenger Terminal and seaport and from further a field in sunny beach. Of course one expects noise until midnight -but this is like Ibiza without the noise insulation. UNESCO world heritage sight and disco music and Old Peal Sea ships with music so loud you can't sleep will put discerning tourists of this otherwise fantastic location and hotel.

Excellent, clean, the sheets and towels were changed daily. The breakfasts were good as long as you’re not a bacon and eggs type and the staff, although English isn't too good, friendly, efficient and cheerful.
The rooms are large, all with balconies, air-con' and heating. The beds are comfy and big with a good amount of bedding to suit all weather conditions. Cleaning is done to a high standard every day and the cleaning staff are always happy to come back later if you’re still in bed.
Breakfasts, are a buffet, with the usual continental offerings of cold meats, cheeses, breads and fruit with a few additional Bulgarian extras such as yoghurt, a type of fried eggy-bread and sausage slices that all tasted delicious. We didn’t try the evening meals menu, but judging by the breakfasts we wouldn’t have been disappointed.
Neesebar, is a small resort in itself, easily explored in an afternoon. It boasts many good restaurants come bars. The best we found were, The Old Anchor and Aquamarine, (also the cheapest). We didn’t have a meal we could moan about all week. Although the resort is small with no beach of its own, Sunny beach is only a steady walk or a short bus ride away and there’s plenty of beach , bar/restaurants and entertainment there.
Put it his way, we’ve decided that we’ll book the same hotel next year, we enjoyed it so much.

Nice hotel beautiful location. Friendly staff. Small but functional Gym. Opposite the lovely St Stephan church. However, atmosphere Peace and tranquillity of the Old Town spoilt by very very loud disco dance music in Bora Bora clubs and Roxy Club on the Seaport - this could be heard at 4 - 5 am in the morning and meant that it was not possible to sleep as the low beats are not kept out by double glazing. Shame that the atmosphere of the UNESCO world heritage is being spoilt by noise pollution, which is not in keeping with the quaint houses and little traditional hotels like St Stephan.

I like this hotel as it is small but stylish and cozy. If you would like to go somewhere just to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea - this is the right place. The staff is friendly and willing to assist the guests. Nice rooms, very good cleaning service. Very close to the beach. I like that this hotel offers free parking lots nearby. We used to go on a daily trips by car.
