If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday Tina's is not the place for you. I stayed here in July 2011 and had an amazing week. The accomodation is basic but has everything you need. Fridge, cooker , sink , table with mirror, wardrobe and shower.
It is an 1830 hotel which means it is very lively and aimed at younger party animals and not at those looking for some peace and quiet.
24hour snack bar is a bonus, food is very basic. Chips, beans sausages etc but there are plenty of restaurants a 5 min walk away.
I would reccomend staying here to anyone looking for a lively fun holiday and anyone looking to meet lots of new people.
If you are looking for somewhere luxurious and quiet then i suggest you stay somehwere else.
All in all our stay at Tina's was brilliant. Staff are friendly and layed back and we had a great week.
To all those people reading bad reviews of this hotel dont listen. The hotel is basic but exactly what we needed and good value for money!
Thanks Tinas!
- Advice: Eating out is not as cheap as some greek resorts. approx 9 euros for chicken souvlaki. Drinks about 4 euros for a mixer, 2 euros for a shot.

Went to Tina's just me and my sister for 1 week. It was a last minute deal which we got for £99!!! Best money I have ever spent. Could not fault Tina's staff, especially Mike and Nick the barmen. Mike is abit mad always up for a goods laugh and Nick does the overnight so is layed back and chilled for when you get in from a mad night out! The rooms were basic, small kitchen and there was no shower curtain so be careful! They were spotless though, the maid came in every day; changed the bed, clean towels and she also used to hang any clothes that were on the floor. In the day time the music is on all day which is fab, really keeps your mood up if your hungover. One thing I would say is DO NOT get the Club 18-30 package as it is a waste of money. You end up paying just as much for ale if not more when your out on any of the events. The only thing good about going to the events is that you meet people from your apartments which is a good thing. As for nightlife its is amazing! We used to have a drink in our room and then go to the Loft which is on Club Street. It's a kareoke bar and the DJ (DJ SMigger) is fab! Then we would hit bar street then on to either Liquid which is brilliant or Bedrock. All in all you will have such a fantastic time at Tina's and you will want to go back again and again! xxxxxxxxxxx Missing Tina's so much. SAS GIRLS!!!! XXXXXXXXXX
- Advice: My tip would be donlt go to sleep, just make sure you have your pro plus at the ready!!!!!

We went to Tinas for our first girls holiday. There was 4 of us, 2 to a room. I read reviews about the hotel and was slightly worried about what to expect, however, when we got there it was a lot better than we thought. Fair enough the kitchen was tiny and there was no shower curtain, but what do you expect for a club 18-30 hotel. All you need is a bed to sleep in. The staff were friendly and the food was really nice. Maids came in everyday to change sheets etc and no noise during the night. The bar was open 24 hours which was ideal after a night out and ordering food. The main strip was about a 10 minute walk, we didnt mind it but some people might. The only things I would complain about were paying for air con which was 50 euros..worth it though. Club 18-30 packages which were a rip off (We were promised loads which we didnt get)and whatever you do DONT get a taxi by yourself. My friend did and the taxi driver drover her miles out to some secluded beach. She got away but it could have been worse! And finally, dont leave any food or sweet drinks in your room. I woke to find my can of coke infested by ants and the entire floor leading to the bathroom was a trail of ants. Didn't bother me really, just sprayed their nest with hairspray!

i never ganna come back there again. tinas hotel manager was sooooooo racist with me and sooooo rude the hotel was awful:pool is too small & food wasnt good, lots of insect in my room and my bed and they bite me at night=( i cant believe ive been there, and they keep asking us where r u from in every single restaurant, clubs and ...(just becaz im not blonde)its just good for people who are desperate to go holiday and they've got no money,BTW the beach was nice and lovely,if you are not teenager its better to get a 5 star hotel.

Stayed at tinas for 7 days in the old block above the bar. the bed sheets had been washed but were stained and had fag burns in them. the sheets only changed once, the pillows cases had not been changed all week during my stay i didn't dare look at the mattress but had a mattress protector on the bed. no shower curtain, and stained bath towels which were changed once. still had stuff in bathroom cabinet left from previous guest. the fridge had no door on ice the box compartment so all the food below this froze. the room was well hot due to weather but they wanted 50 euro for air con which i did not want to pay. couldn't leave a window open because they were on a walkway and someone could have climbed in. the place was dead noisy too especially in the morning about half 5 -6 with people coming back ****** from clubs. this was a very very cheep holiday for me only £140 last min deal so not to bothered. i don't recommend these apartments or faliraki dirty, full of many abandoned & derelict clubs and half build buildings. BUT A GREAT CLEAN BEACH AND CLEAR WARM SEA THAT I WILL MISS.the food is good too from the restaurants which i visited, not to bad priced either. the local super markets are very over priced too i thought compared to uk. but there was a lidl store there but didn't go there as it was far.

I stayed at Tina's this summer with my boyfriend, we had a really good holiday but i would reccomend this hotel to groups of young people rather than couples really as the rooms are very basic (to suit the needs of those on a club 18-30 holiday). We chose to go self catering, however it would have been pretty difficult to cook a meal there as the facilities were very limeted. The towels were changed daily which was great, but beware the maids knock once and then unlock the door at about 9am so dont expect a lie in! Our toilet broke during our stay which meant we couldn't flush it for 3 days but the staff were fairly helpful... But what do you expect when you book a cheap holiday! I do regret not paying 50 euros for the air con because it was so hot in the room at night we had to leave the patio door open but as there was no mosquito net curtain so i got bit all over! The pool area is really nice and pretty clean, the 24 hour bar serves good food and at a reasonable price. It was a bit of a treck to the main town.. it takes about 15 or so minutes but it was well worth the wait cos the nightlife was great. So all in all i would reccomend this hotel to young people looking for a drinking holiday but don't expect luxury!

Four of us are just back from staying in Tinas apartments, Faliraki for a week. I found that there werent much pictures of the place to look at before we went but most of the reviews were really good and the fact it was quite close to the centre made us go for it.
I was a bit worried about going in september that it would be dead as were ages 22-26 so wanted some fun filled action, not a ghost town! However it was just perfect - everywhere was all still open and there were lots of people going about but not too much which is a good thing as u got served drinks straight away and never had to queue for any clubs or the water park for example, couldnt be bothered with that in peak season. Was roasting hot and we all came home bronzed! The atmosphere at the bar & pool is fantastic, because its quite a smallish place you get to know everyone and you could almost go on holiday yourself and be guaranteed to end up out with 'the bunch' every night. George, Mary and Krissie run the bar and serve a gd range of snacks ranging from full breakfasts, burgers & chips, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, beans on toast, chicken nuggets, slushes, cocktails, ice cream you name it they make it!
The rooms and buildings are just your standard greek apartments - nothing too luxurious and nothing to scabby, just right for somewhere to base yourself and have quite comfy beds, wet room/bathroom, mirror dressing unit and balcony. They were better than I anticipated to be honest although we did have a few ants appearing in the shower room! Our room was huge, quite long and spacious but the other 2 had a smaller one on the ground floor - about a handful of steps to the pool! Plenty of sunbeds and music played all day but please note this hotel is NOT rowdy and you can sleep whenever you want to! The process if you go to the laptop, pick a tune off youtube and play it so you can chop and change as you please.
Faliraki itself I think may have had its day back in the time of clubreps - lots of abandoned apartments, resturaunts and half built places but the main town ie bar street and club street are still bouncing. Was a bit dissapointed at the shopping selection, never bought one thing for myself and Im a self confessed shopaholic! Liquid, Q club, Bed club are all worth checking out. Restruant wise we mainly ate in the apartment bar but we did go to Dessert Rose just down from the hotel - steven seagal stans outside and gives you good deals if you come in! You get 4 courses for like 9euros plus free cocktail. Anything from traditional greek food to pizza & chips. Also go to Strada a greek/italian place, it was absolutely gorgeous really reccomend it. I had grilled chicken with garlic & lime vegetables. On the last night we went to BBQ GRill opposite dessert rose the lady there was soo nice and funny - gave us all free starters - and you MUST try Tzatziki which is yogurt sauce & pitta bread, amazing.
For what we paid, this was an awesome holiday and I wouldnt have wanted to have it anywhere else but Tinas - seriously you wont be dissapointed. You just cant complain for the price you'll have paid. The atmosphere is great and if you love banter and meeting new people this place is for you!

I have just returned from a holiday with 3 friends, all girls and all worked really hard to pay for this holiday. We didn't expect the rooms to be 5* but we were hoping they would be clean, mould free and dry! On arrival the reps said, if you have a shower curtain and a toilet lid, you've got the penthouse suit! It got worse, there was mould all around the shower curtain and bathroom and on the entrance to the apartment which continued to drip and so a puddle gathered on the floor. The apartment was meant to be self-catering but the cutlery still had dried food on it and we had one plate to share between two. The sheets had stains on them and were not changed all week. Having spoken to the rep it was clear that they didn't really care, they understood that the rooms were basic but that was what 1830's was about! We also had to get the fridge and cooker fixed as they were not working, when we eventually got them working on the second day, the fridge froze everything!
To be honest, if you're prepared to literally slum it for a week its ok, the nightlife is good and is only a short walk away, the pool was ok apart from the floating condoms and grime! the guy that runs the hotel seems nice but I think all the staff seemed to just accept the standard of the apartments.

we got to our appartment which was really nice, its a well nice family run buisness but the only thing i can say is i know it was 1830's but didn't expect the room to be in the condiction it was in. There was mould along the silicone of the shower and the floor hadn't even been swept properly. we had a meeting with the reps the first morning we got there and they feed you so much b*** s**t, they were asking for 179E for the full excurtions but believe me don't book anything with them, go to a travel shop and get your excurtions with them. Me and my boyfriend paied 80E for a walkabout and beach party with the reps, the walkabout cost 30E and 50E for a beach party. The first one we didn't go to cos my boyfriend didn't feel to good and was been sick that afternoon so we went to see our reps if they could refund the money and they just fobbed us off. The beach party included free 1hr bar and free transport which we thoght was good but as we went to the travel shop they were selling the same tickets for 25E with everything so think before you buy with them.
1830's is not for couples its more for groups of people who like to get stupidly drunk but if thats what they like than thats what they like.
Our holiday was great appart from that, im just letting you know what to expect. We went to the waterpark twice it was fantastic this is a great place to visit for fun and a great tan. The beach was really nice but be warned the sand gets really hot so find some shade were ever possible.
When your walking down the street be expecting to get arrassed by workers trying to get you into there resturants or pubs for food or drink.
They have many shops for little prezzies and if you get cance to go to rhodes town by bus its 4E each and they have loads of shops and markets.
Tina's appartments have really nice people so cant doubt that, so hope i refreshed your minds and really hope you have a beetr stay than what we had. Be expected to be AWAKE all night with shouting or couple of nights of loud music.

me and my friend came back from here three weeks ago and it was the most amazing holiday we have ever been on. Yes the appartments were basic but it's self catering so what do you expect? Everyone behind the bar were such a good laugh and made us feel really welcome. In the day there was a really chilled out atmosphere by the pool so if you were tired or hungover it was perfect. There was enough sun loungers for everyone so you could always come down and relax. There was only a few hours from about 5am-8am that there was no noise at all, music plays pretty much 24/7 but this was nice in the morning when you are hungover because it put everyone in a good mood. The drinks behind the bar were a little bit expensive but that didn't matter because you are out most of the time. Me and my friend read some of the reviews that said the rep's were ripping them off by trying to make them pay for the full week of activitys so we didn't buy it. However we ended up paying for it anyway because it turned out to be a better deal and we didn't miss out on any of the nights, they are all worth it!!!!!!! The reps were friendly and really helpful and did their best to cater for our needs. The people that have complained about it being to loud, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?! Its an 18-30's holiday so obviously its going to be full of loud drunk people having a good time. It costs 50 euoro's to have air con for your room, its worth it because it is sooo hot, but beware because we ended up with really awful colds when we came back from the air con. There aren't shower curtains but it doesn't matter because the whole bathroom acts as the shower and just drains out. All in all this was such a nice pl;ace to stay and i highly reccomend it, it was so good i'm applying for a repping job in the summer! Love ella and Nina from beverley xxx
