Willerby Manor Hotel

We have never experienced problems with the Best Western chain, so we were quite surprised when checked in to our room, that they had got the booking wrong.
We booked a double room for our anniversary and found that we had been given the keys to a twin room.
After a telephone call to reception they told us that they had no double rooms available, however once I had explained that we were regular users of Best Westerns and that we were there for our wedding anniversary they asked us to give them 10 minutes. 10 minutes later they gave us keys to another room and apologised for the mix up.
The room was still a twin; however they had pushed the beds together and given it a double headboard. Satisfied that they had fulfilled our requirements we were happy.
Dinner in the restaurants was exceptional, in either the posh "a la carte" restaurant or in the general restaurant where the bar is. The choice of food was vast; the standard was great and the service impeccable.
The facilities (swimming, sauna, steam room, gym etc) were also very good.
I would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay and very good for access to many of Yorkshire’s sights.
