Reviews of Iron Gate Hotel, Prague

We spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel. The location was perfect. Extremely central but just off the busy main pedestrian areas - perfect. We had a Royal Suite and everything in the room was perfect and better than anticipated. Staff are very friendly and helpful.



The only small negative I'll note: when staying in the room on the ground floor courtyard, there are trolleys (laundry perhaps?) that run through the courtyard at around 6am for a minute or two. Not really a sound one wants to wake up to at 6am. But apart from that, no other noise from the courtyard - despite that being the breakfast area as well.



Breakfast is excluded from the main rate, but it's worth having breakfast at the hotel, as the street cafe's do not offer a "standard" English breakfast. I will recommend this hotel without a doubt - a real treat!

This hotel was wonderful. My son took me for my birthday and I was so thrilled. The service at the hotel was second to non.



The room was to marvel at. Beautiful decor and splendid furnishing. Truly an interesting building. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and service with a smile. We ate one evening in the outside restaurant. The food was delicious and a very competitive price. We also had afternoon tea and an ice cream treat which was very yummy.



I would love to go back - no hesitation!

All in all a wonderful birthday treat!
