Pomme d'Or Hotel Reviews
" A wonderful hotel in a wonderful... "
Submitted By: Mrs G Francis
A wonderful hotel in a wonderful setting. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel and one, where breakfast is served, overlooks the harbour, it is really beautiful.
The hotel is ideally situated for browsing the shops and visiting the local bars and restaurants as the main shopping street is just a few minutes’ walk away. The new (and very efficient!) bus station is a few doors down and gives you access, at a reasonable price, to the rest of the island.
The Durrell Trust is a must to visit. The work that they do there is so inspirational and it is a wonderful day out for all.
The Boat House (restaurant) in St Aubin is also worth a visit, the setting is beautiful, and the food is fantastic.
We booked our holiday all through BMIBABY, flights, airport parking, and the hotel and got a really good deal - it is worth checking out. So, if you want to be pampered and are looking for a relaxing break, I can definitely recommend the Pomme D'Or.

It took three phone calls and 2 hours for room service to bring a bucket of ice to the room. The breakfast would of been OK if the eggs that were just brought out were not made from recycled rubber.
The shower gel dispenser ran out after two squirts
The tea and biscuits were replenished but missed half the rubbish from the day before
There are no pool facilities on site or parking
I think the 4 stars must of been dished out back in the early 1900's because my girlfriend and i stayed in the Royal Yatch next door the night before and would give that a 10, cant fault it just what you want from a 4 star hotel
and just to finish it off they did not give us our wake up call but did tell us when the taxi was there and by the time we got down stairs the taxi had left and before we could get to the airport so did our plane. But that's OK because one the staff saw we were a little distressed it made them laugh behind our back.
After this i new complaning would only make my leaving jersey more annoying, and would achieve nothing, as complaning to the manager before and staff last time turned them into plastic nodding dogs
I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world and this is the first reveiw i have ever made, just felt strongly about it.
