Nine of us stayed at Malibu, four adults’ and five children.
The rooms were nice and clean maids came in everyday. We were the only British in the whole hotel for the whole two weeks, not a good thing.
The food was really bad. One night the chicken was raw, I complained to the chef but he didn’t have a clue what I was on about as he couldn’t speak English.
There was no inside room for entertainment only, sometimes early evening by the pool and it wasn’t done in English anyway. The pool was spotless with a lifeguard all day. You had to pay for sunloungers and the hotel shared its pool with another hotel.
The restaurant do a ‘2 for 1’ happy hour on cocktails and beware they are strong, especially the long island iced tea. The reception staff spoke pretty good english and the beach is 2 mins away.
Would I go back yes, but to another hotel next time.
