Green Acres Hotel

Stayed for three nights over Easter. Staff very helpful and pleasent. Rooms and other areas very old fashion but clean I agree about the plumbing could be a bit noisy. Didn't eat in restaurant except for breakfast as we were visiting relatives but ate in the bar one night. Food was excellent and again staff were very helpful even though it was very busy. This is a very quiet location but even though we had our car it was still easy to walk to other place or to catch the bus (very cheap). We will go back.

This is a very, very nice hotel. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but well equipped and clean. Quite spacious as well. The staff is very friendly and they are more than willing to help. The food is very good. Especially the croissants at breakfast. If you don't feel like eating in the dining room, I can recommend the hotel bar. They serve nice food there as well. We have just come back from a turkey and tinsel break at the green acres hotel. The hotel was very clean and more than comfortable. It is a little out of the way, (very peaceful) but within walking distance of the local bus stop (which are cheap to travel on). This hotel is a non-smoking hotel, we found out later that Guernsey is a non-smoking island. (smokers beware!) The staff were all very friendly, and you felt they wanted you to be there.
