The Rooms: This hotel consist of hundreds of cramped rooms poorly lit if you don’t have a main road view, ours look onto a very small courtyard to the neighbouring hotel, so very little daylight especially in the winter months.
Me and my son got a twin (Smoking) which had a TV, minibar (empty) and safe, the beds was clean but only one small pillow each.
When we arrived (6pm) there was no water in the room, by around 9pm there was water but it was brown and it wasn’t till the morning that we could have a shower.
The Lift: We don’t recommend the lift especially for children has it does not have a inner door.
Breakfast: You can get coffee, juice, cornflakes, fruits, cold bacon, cold scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, if you do it yourself!
Shopping: The location is great for shopping with a number of large indoor area’s within walking distance, however if you are after tobacco forget it, there are a large number of tobacco stalls and shops but none will sell it in bulk
If you wish to buy in bulk and are leaving by train, when entering Midi Station head straight forward and ignore all the newsagents, until you get to the end of the corridor and you will see a newsagent in the right hand corner, they have plenty
Night life: The night life is none existent, you can get a good meal but only one place would serve us a drink without having a meal although there is a strip club nearby!
