Victoria Hotel

this hotel is got to be the worst on the island, staff are so rude they are not bothered.
arrived at this hotel got my room looked outside on to a car park. was not to impressed so asked to be moved, 2days later was moved to another room, the room was abit better but not much. the rooms were so dirty, i had to buy cleaning equitment to clean the room myself the maids were rubbish. SO KEEP AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

Arrived at 6.30 in the morning to be told our rooms weren’t ready. The reception area was disgusting with rubbish everywhere. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful.
Food was horrible so we ate breakfast elsewhere every day.
Pool area was quite nice but the water made anything white a horrible green colour.
The rooms were small and the fridge was rusty, so not much time was spent in there especially as we had to ask 3 times for the sheets to be changed.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Although you are right in the middle of the strip which is good for nights out.

A group of friends decided to come to this hotel as the travel agent said this was very popular for girl groups.
When we first arrived the staff were so unpleasant and did not even attempt to speak English! The reception was the best part of the hotel.
When we arrived to our rooms we were horrified! So disgusting same as the rest of the hotel!
The pool area was ok but could do with some cleaning or even a mass of refurbishment. I would def not recommend this hotel to families or even the whole resort in one.
It is a beautiful island but would never come to Laganas its self. I felt more safe when I was in Magaluf than I did in the town in Laganas. The people were just so rude.
The beach wasn’t the best of best, it was dirty after the sun came out from all the brits.

So I would advise all people to save money and go someplace else. And the airport I won’t even go there.

I stayed in the hotel Victoria with my boyfriend and I got to say, I've had the worst room in the hotel.
It was in the basement right, in the corner, had no sun on are so called balcony but at least we didn’t have to pay for air con because of that so that’s a plus.
But as we say, your holiday is what a make of it not were you stay.
I can't comment on the breakfast, as I was never up that early but the pool bar served lovely food with friendly staff Mel ya a babe xx
Enjoyed a drink in the hotel bar playing on the pool tables getting a few tips how to pocket off the manager.
The reception staff were ok except one who was not nice one bit but who cares.
The pool is great can be a little busy but fun all the same.
If you visit laganas you need to eat in Georgios its fab.
Well all in all I enjoyed my stay in Laganas and in the hotel Victoria - NOT FOR OLDER PEOPLE BE WARNED!

This hotel has to be one of the worst hotels I've stayed in, in my life.
The photos are very deceiving, it is not like that in real life.
I couldn't believe how rude the staff were in the hotel, promising us a pool view room and then giving us one of the dirty back garden, I was not amused.
The bathrooms had no screens or shower curtains, so every time we had a shower the water would go everywhere.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Having arrived at the hotel 1st impressions were very good - clean entrance to reception and open plan lobby and seating area looked very pleasant. This all changed when we were given the keys to our room. On entering the room we were greeted with spiders, ants, unclean floors, no television, no hanging space for clothes, no fridge and a very dirty toilet.
Apart from the TV you would expect a 3 star hotel to be clean and items listed in the itinerary to be in place, so for 2 weeks we resorted to living out of our suitcases. The maids cleaned the room every other day with fresh towels every 3 days.
The breakfast could hardly be called a breakfast with simple cold platters with either tea & coffee served.
On the plus side the pool side bar was very good with cold drinks & good food served with friendly staff to chat to. The pool was spacious although a little too much chlorine made clothes go green within minutes.
Best option was to visit the beach - after having breakfast next door to the hotel in Scirrochio (friendly staff and reasonably priced food and good quality). Beach bar to look out for is Golden Sand next door to the Melon Bar - good food, nice ice cold glasses and great views out on to the beach. Beach generally clean with sun beds ranging from 2euro to 4euro (2euro outside Golden Sand)
Night life was what we expected - lively, loud and plenty of choice. Make sure you check out Cocktails & Dreams, Rescue, Kamikaze & Cherry Bay - make the PRs on the door work for your entry all try to offer you deals that are better than the bar next door.

If you’re looking for a holiday in Laganas you know exactly what you’re going to get.
The resort is loud, young and lively. This hotel had a good mix of people old and young and despite being pretty much on the strip wasn’t loud at all (and we were right at the front of the hotel, if you look to the top left of the door that was out room)
Pool is among the best in the resort, deep enough at its halfway point I was stood on my toes (5ft 8).
Definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you are wanting the sort of holiday you SHOULD EXPECT from Laganas.

This was possibly the worst hotel I have ever seen. On a par with a Youth Hostel I once stayed at in Amsterdam! On arrival we were allocated a room, which was dirty despite having just been 'cleaned'.
The fixtures and fittings were in serious need of refurbishment. The shower head was covered in rust, the grout between all the tiles in the bathroom was black, there were dirty marks on the sheets, there was food walked into the floor all around the bar area. The fact that this hotel has a 3* rating is laughable. We were offered two other rooms by a sullen receptionist, all of which were of a similar standard.
It took us two hours to get moved to another resort. If your aim is to go on holiday, drink as much alcohol as you can, vomit in the street then do it all again, then this is the place for you. I do not advise anyone with young children to go to this resort. It is truly appalling.

On arriving at the hotel we were met by an unfriendly receptionist who barely spoke to us!
Having said this the cleaners who we met on our last day were very helpful and friendly-they even called us a taxi to the airport!
The room was clean and spacious, and just what we expected considering what we paid.
The breakfast was basic and would have been nice if the same bread, eggs etc hadn't been used for several days!!
The pool was dirty and there was general feel that nobody cared about the hotel or the guests - probably due to the time of year.
I would return to Zante but not to Laganas this is a club 18-30 resort and is not suitable for families with young children.

I thought the hotel was amazing!!
The rooms were spacious not too much noise when u do want to sleep but trust me u don’t want to sleep there’s too many things to do.. Yes till 9 o clock in the morning!
The security is v.good they have an over night guard - he was sweet but don’t mess with him he's big, bald and scary looking but he’s friendly enough - Leo ahhh!
The pool area is lovely big and lots of sun loungers so you don’t have to get up extra early to get one if you’ve had a heavy one the night before. Tony the guy who runs the snack area outside is a true pro nice guy but watch out for he's parrot! Food is reasonably priced and they also serve alcohol at the snack bar too.
The night bar inside was run by two girls Lauren and Sarah. They were a laugh always making up strong cocktails for everyone to try! Laurens saying-"come on guys where you going come and get your free shot" love you Lauren especially when you have your Michael Jackson playing you are real fan.
