.com - Is a German hotel that ONLY caters for Germans. All daytime and evening entertainment is spoken in German. Food only catered for the Germans. There is a disco there, which is open at around 11 o’clock, but when requested to play British songs they refused and said that it is German night only, which was German night only every night. Reception staff could only speak very little English and were very unhelpful.
When asked how many English were staying there out of around 300 rooms only 5 rooms were British.
When the German football team were playing on the big screen and the Germans cheered all night, which was gone 11oclock nothing was said, but when the English were playing football and 5 English people cheered, before even 11o’clock the police arrived.
Overall we found Albena a great resort and would recommend it. But strongly advise not to stay in the .Com hotel unless you are German.
