Hotel Atlantis

I recently stayed at the Atlantis and found it a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and although we were put in a room next to the lift shaft, when we asked to be moved, the staff found us a quiter room immediately. The breakfast was fine and plenty to pick from. The position of this hotel is really fantastic. Step out the door and you are close to The Ramblas and all the good shops. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel if you want a great position.

I stayed here in August 2006 and I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It doesn't look like much from the outside but our room was lovely and large. However, I was traveling with my wife and 2 children so we did have a large room. The receptionist told us it was the nicest room in the hotel. Location is perfect near Placa Universidad and steps away from La Ramblas and Placa Catalunia. Metro stop a few metres outsied the hotel also if you need it. I come to Barcelona every year for The Eibtm Tourism Fair.Atlantis has a very good location and this is its strong point.The only thing that i didn't like was the poor breakfast,but overall,for someone who wants to visit and work and then have a cozy place to rest,Atlantis is just IT!

This hotel is set in a convient place but thats it, very unfriendly, rooms not as clean as they could be, and no double beds. Very noisy door slamming etc ,breakfast was very poor the worst we came across in europe.Would not go back.

This is one of the best city hotels I have ever been to! The location is great, the room was very clean and had a wooden floor (!) with linen changed every day - if there are bed bugs, you must have brought them with you... Very competative rates & friendly staff, good breakfast.

No kidding. I was COVERED with bed bug bites after staying for 3 nights in this hotel. They lasted for 12 days and made my holiday uncomfortable (to say the least). I showed the hotel staff my bites and they said, 'It could maybe be a misquito.' However, they were kind enough to give me a 15% discount. Literally, I had the bites everywhere, it's impossible that they were from misquitos. The hotel is wonderful aside from that awful detail! Be warned!

The hotel is located at the crossroads of the famous Ramblas, and close to metro, modern grocery store, shopping, and sights. The hotel is very compact from the lobby to the rooms. PROS: - Recently updated bathroom. - Good value - Great location - Clean room CONS: - Small room - Beds were spartan

Excellent value for money - centrally situated with many restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Easy to reach by train or bus from Airport.

this hotel is very good. Central, just off the ramblas and Placa de Catalunya. Couldn't ask for better. Barcelona is everything I expected and more. loved every minute of my visit. Will definately return.
