My husband and I stayed here for a romantic weekend to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary while our children stayed with my sister. We were in heaven. Our room, which was just a basic double room, was huge with 2 huge beds in it. Spotlessly clean and a beautiful en-suite. Lots of little extras too for us to enjoy.
The most appealing part of this hotel is that you literally step out of the door, across the gardens and onto the beautiful beach. The hotel has it's own private gate onto the beach. We had a wonderful time and Newcastle town has improved vastly over the years with its new promenade that it would be difficult to be disappointed at anything. We will definitely recommend staying here, and hope to return soon.
