This "4* hotel" was anything but, it felt more like a down-market 3* hotel. Although situated between old Nice and the beach, the hotel's ideal location is the only positive thing to comment on.
The room was in a poor condition with peeling paint, damaged carpet, leaking taps, pitiful air conditioning and untimely maid service. We booked this hotel partly on the basis of the pool - but what wasn't made clear on the hotel website and at the time of the booking was the fee of 13 euros per person per day for using it!! Although the staff were friendly and helpful this is not a hotel I would ever recommend to anyone.
