Smugglers Inn Guesthouse

The staff, provided excellent service all round, the restaurant has wonderfull sea views, and serves excellent food. BUT the accommodation is far from the same standard being Dated, Basic & overpriced. compared to similar place we stayed. in Ireland. Till the care and attention to detail, that is clearly shown in the restaurant, is applied to the accomodation I would suggest dining at the smugglers, but staying in the village. Philip Johnson

Stayed at the Smugglers Inn in a room with a beautiful view. But the bathroom was something else. First use of the jacuzzi resulted in the water turning grey with black floating bits. The drain from the sink,bath and shower are all interconnected, so water draining from the sink comes up into the bath. Breakfast results in a twenty to thirty minute wait because of insufficient staff.
