If you are looking for a hotel in the centre of Harogate, that is total value for money, then look no further than this place.
The Kimberley was the choice for me when I wanted to take the girlfriend away for a romantic weekend. For some reason I overlooked this place on my first scout around on the internet.. but I'm glad I didn't miss it in the end.
It's spitting distance away from the centre, it's clean, its well equipped, has a bar, breakfast is great and the people who look after extremely polite and helpful.
I opted for the more expensive executive room - as I wasn't a fan of the decor in the standard rooms. The exec rooms are £30 pounds extra, but well worth it.
In the morning you get a little note pushed under your door telling you who is on duty, breakfast times, local weather, any traffic delays and a brief summary of what is going on in Harrogate. I even got a postcard from them this morning saying thank you and that they hope we had a good time. It's little things like that that make me want to return there next year.
Finally, car parking is safe. I don't think there is anyone who more protective of their car than me, and I felt happy parking around the back of the hotel.
