My husband and I went there for ten days in August 2009. We stayed at the Sirene. It was all clean, the room, towels, sheets. Breakfast room was very nice with excellent music to start your day, excellent staff, smilling beautiful ladies. The breakfast was excellent,every day, and the swimming pool was clean. The reviews in several blogs said don't go. Thank god we did not cancel booking. We had wonderful vacation in a very good hotel. The present owners, we heard, are planning to renovate the hotels. That means next year will be even better.
- Advice: Excellent location/beach, many rubbish everywhere. What are the local authorities doing? nothing!!!

a beautiful beach, friendly environment. a very clean hotel, really cheap for what it offers. also the atmosphere and the music at the hotel bar is awesome! Greatly satisfied with the breakfast, a real continental! and the snack bar, filled with all the goodies!!! definately gonna visit again this summer with friends, absolutely loved it!

After reading several reviews and cringing at what the hotel would be like, myself and 3 friend where happy with what we got.
We only got up for breakfast once as the taste of slimey ham, stale bread and ill looking cheese didnt appeal to us.
The people running the hotel where very nice (if your in there good books). We di get the occasional dont do thi dont do that, but apart from that it was fine.
The pool (though looking abit green) was O.K. Nothing to shout about. The location though was brilliant.
I would recommend anyone that goes to this place to have a great time but BE QUIET.
Also Dont expect much from the maids as they wake you up in the morning not to clean but to give your sheets a quick shake and make it "look" like its be changed. We only got our sheets change twice in two weeks.
Be prepared to pay in the region of 40 Euros per week for Air Con as you WILL need it during the Summer months.

Nice Hotel - Nice Holiday.
Only thing lacking was decent Breakfast.
All that was provided as breakfast was bread butter and slices of cheese and ham - everyday ! No cereal - we had to go to the supermarket and buy cereal for my son !

I came as a group of 8 lads aged between 19-21 from Bolton in July 2010, and we had the times of our lives. The location fantastic, literally a stones throw from the beach, 5 minuite walk from the strip, and when you have worked your way down, you can walk home along the beach in under 5 mins. Handy shop within 60 seconds for anything you need. The staff I cannot thank enough for my stay, George, Eleni, Giannis and Kostas made our stay a pleasure in hotel Australia. I am now looking at booking our visit there next year. The rooms are basic and we wouldnt need any more for a lads holiday. Don't come home shouting though or Stelios will not be kind to you! Great atmosphere by the pool in the day and Mythos on tap when needed!
