A handy hotel to break the journey...

A handy hotel to break the journey from London to Scotland. It's close to Scotch Corner (not that there's much to see there) on the A1 at services.
There's a bit of traffic noise but that's to be expected. The rooms have been recently decorated and everything was very clean and tidy. The usual facilities are on offer - TV with pay-for-view movies, Coffee maker etc. Comfortable bed with a sofa bed as well.
There's not a lot to do in the area, but I guess most people wouldn't be choosing this place as a holiday destination.

This is quite an old Travelodge which seems to have been here for a long time, however everything was fine.
It is a comfortable, clean hotel with usual basic standard of Travelodge accomodation.
The room was clean, spacious, with tea and coffee making facilities and a very, very comfortable bed! There is a Little Chef situated directly next door to this lodge for breakfasts and meals etc.
