we stayed in the casablanca august 2008 i couldnt fault it the rooms were spotless cleaned every day and towels changed every day. The food was very good i had 2 finnicky kids with me but they found something every day to satisfy them and no complaints especially with the full english breakfasts every day cooked fresh in front of you. All the staff were very pleasant not a sour face in sight. The manager was always around checking things were running ok and he always had time to chat. The pool area was good not as noisy as i thought for august. There was a steep hill to the hotel from the beach but not enough to spoil our stay. There was no entertainment at the hotel which was the only fault we went to the gran santa ponsa hotel and enjoyed their shows most nights. I would certainly go back to this hotel and so say my kids.

We have just returned home from spending 7 nights at this great hotel (the best 3* we have ever stayed at). The food was great, the staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for you the rooms were spotless. The pool areas were great and there were no argument over sunbeds.
The only downside was the attitude towards smoking. No smoking in bedrooms or restaurant but in the bar areas to was horrible and even out on the terraces. But this did not spoil our stay.
Our only wish is that they could move this hotel to another resort. Santa Ponsa is not our cup of tea - why do people go on holiday to do the same things they do at home. Drink too much, watch football in their tedious replica shirts and eat egg and chips at the local "British" pub - but there you go each to their own.

me and my boyfriend just got back from this hotel, We was very suprised at what we see the hotel was very spacious and clean, the maids couldnt do enough for you, the food was nice in the restaurant, there is alot of steps you have to walk to get to the pool and then back to your room, there is no noise at night of drunken people coming in, the hotel was suitable for young couples, or families with babies as there is no entertainment for kids, the hotel is 5-10 minute walk to the beach and nightlife, there are restaurants, bars and nightlife you can choose from, the rooms were very clean and spacious, definatly recommend this hotel to anyone whos planning to go spain, it just suitable for everyone! and the good thing for ladies and some men is that you never have to fight to get sunbeds there are always some everywhere! all in all very good hotel and holiday!

I have just come back from a holiday in Mallorca, santa ponsa, hotel Casablanca with my husband, daughter and 4 other members of the family.
When we first arrived at the hotel we werent very impressed but this was because we arrived early hours at 5am and we could not see the full view of the hotel. The next morning after viewing the hotel we were very satisfied and impressed with the hotel. we could not fault the large lagoon shape pool as it was suitable for everyone. Our rooms were quite spacious and our bathroom was too. They were very clean and tidy with a good range of facilities. We were very impressed with the size on our balcony and our view from our room. After our first breakfast and evening meal we knew that there would be no faults with the food. We descibed it as "the best food we had ever tasted abroad". Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would recommend this hotel for most people although ther was very little access for the disabled as ther was no lifts down to the pool and there was a lot of steps to climb. Another fault is that there wasn't much entertainment for the young children so i would recommend it for familys with older children and couples. we will definately be returning to this hotel!

What a wonderful relaxing holiday and all thanks to the staff at the Casablanca.
They are helpful, courteous, and friendly and most of all, like friends you have known for many years. I have never stayed in a more friendly hotel environment where all the staff appear happy and contented.
This I firmly believe is down to the owner who runs a tight ship, appreciates his hard working staff (why else would they be in his employ for so long). He takes the time to converse with guests and makes everyone feel welcome.
The hotel is absolutely spotless and the meals were varied and plentiful.
The Casablanca would not be the same without 'Felix the cat'.
We'll be back and have told many friends to take their holidays in the wonderful Casablanca.

We went as a family and stayed in a family room. We couldn't fault this hotel - although the tour operator has a lot to answer for!!! The organisation of the day trips were horrendous - mainly due to the bus never turning up! The staff were amazing with the children, encouraging their Spanish.
My wife can only relax if she knows everything is really clean - and she had the first relaxing 2 week holiday ever in this hotel. The children who are barely school age had a ball in the swimming pool. They ate healthily. They enjoyed the clean beach. This was by far the best family holiday we have had.
We will be going back! Thank you to all those wonderful staff - from the cleaner, the receptionist to the amazing waiting staff and chef.

I have just returned from a week at the Hotel Casablanca and would recommend it to anyone who may be considering it, it is a decent size hotel with good food and the staff are very friendly. I have only given a 9 rating, as the rooms were a little basic (no TV or even a hairdryer!), but the other aspects of this hotel more than made up for the minor inconveniences.
We traveled with Thomas Cook and wouldn't go anywhere with them again - we were stranded at the airport on arrival, having prebooked the resort transfer. Fortunately, a German tour operator allowed us to hitch a lift to the hotel, but our rep didn’t even know we were there until we stood in front of her 2 days later demanding to know what had gone wrong and why she hadn't been concerned that 2 of her guests were missing!
Santa Ponsa is a small resort in comparison to Palma Nova and Magaluf, but we got around pretty well on the bus service from the centre of town (2.50 euro to Palma). A word of warning, if you go to Marineland, it's 19.90 euro per adult and isn't terribly big.
All in all, this resort and hotel gets a big thumbs up, I traveled with a friend (she's 26, I'm 37) and we had a nice relaxing time, but it is also suitable for families or older couples.

Brilliant hotel, staff and the holiday all round. Have just spent two weeks in the Casablanca, the hotel was spotless, staff really helpful and the pool area was brilliant (never have to fight for sun bed or chairs and tables!) Great views from the back of the hotel over the town, the distance it is away you can walk there in seconds but get
No noise! Loads to do in Santa Ponsa as well and Magaluf is only a bus ride away if you want it. The food was great, in the two weeks there was only one night when I didn’t fancy what was on offer and went elsewhere. We are even going back there in September, and I have never before been to a hotel twice before!
Beware when you book though as only rooms on the back of the hotel have balconies, we found out when we arrived that we had been discounted £28 for not having a balcony, other people spotted this and phoned before they left, they got their balcony last. The food and dining room were brilliant, but if you go as a couple you will be seated with another couple, luckily for us they were a nice couple who we got on well with but there was another couple who got seated with a German couple who couldn’t speak English--Awkward! I was told though that they try and keep it so that the people you sit with, you can talk to.
When we arrived we knew that the only entertainment was on Mondays and Fridays, as we were leaving they were getting ready for entertainment what looked like all week round. And Scuba Diving at 3:00 on a Saturday.
