A party of 10 people varying from age 7 - 46. The Townhouse was everything we wanted it to be - looked exactly like the pictures. All fully equipped and air conditioned. Communal pool which was surprisingly not too overcrowded. The only disappointment for us all was the lack of 'entertainment'.
The nearest shop of any kind was a 'mercodona' (supermarket) which was a good 15 minute walk, but was well stocked. A cafe across from the supermarket and a bank. The nearest small village was a 20 minute walk which had a few restaurants and bars, nothing at all to occupy the children.
The nearest bus stop was also 15-20 mins walk for Estepona area, add another 10 mins onto that to go into Marbella, as you had to walk to a bridge and right over the opposite side of the road to get to that bus stop. Taxi drivers had never heard of Bel Air Platinum, so that was quite interesting to get them to understand where the heck we wanted to go home to!!!
Visited Benahavis and that was beautiful (try a meal at Eugenios - terrific). Bus ride to Funny Beach was well worth it, the kids loved the go karts etc. So all in all, an ok holiday - but BE PREPARED TO TRAVEL!!!!!.

I stayed at the Bel Air Platinum with my 5 golfing buddies and the location was ideally situated for the local golf courses in the area. It is surprisingly quiet given that it is only a few hundred yards from the main road and therefore makes driving very convenient. We booked through a website called wwww.costa-gold.co.uk which allowed us to pay using a debit card and also gave us instant discounts. So, if you're a golfer, I would recommend this development as the perfect retreat. Only problem for me was that it was self-catering, so had to make time to cook! :o)
