Travelers Mother and Daughter, 68 and 42.
Just had a wonderful week at the Hotel Eden in a Superior sea facing room which was like a mini suite with balcony. View over the bay was superb.
Hotel has recently been refurbished and was cleaned thoroughly daily, as was the pool and pool area/bar.
Hotel in ideal location, in centre of Puerto Soller right on the sea front (road separates it from beach). The Tram to Soller stopped directly opposite the hotel.
Puerto Soller is quite quiet with few English around. Not all touristy. A few shops selling usual pearls, leather, etc and some lovely restaurants along the seafront.
Food at hotel OK. All staff friendly, efficient and courteous. Good English spoken by staff on reception. All in all, great value for money. Will definitely be back!
The local council has decided to build a car park towards the rear of the hotel (a brilliant idea as parking was quite difficult). This did not diminish our stay in anyway, we never even knew work was going on.

Just come back from week at Eden Hotel Puerto Soller. It was a fantastic hotel, which was a abit of a surprise as some of the reviews we read were so negative! It is na great lcoation right near to the beaches and restaurants, BODEGUITA was really our favourite. The rooms were spacious and had a lovely balcony looking at pool and beach and beyond to the montains. Staff friendly and helpful and a problem tv sorted within the hour. Hotel is accessible but our room had bath over shower. It was all very cleqan indeed. Brreakfast had loads of choice I really cant imagine what more you would want, 5 types bread, chees cold meats, cooked stuff, diet foods, the lot. We treid eve buffet once and again was very impressed BUT no veggie cooked meals. Pool is lovley and not too crowded with gradiated stepped enterance. Lift is reasonable size, my scooter fitted in fine. A really lovely hotel ina lovely family friendly resort. There is entertainment most nights, cheesy but fine, and luckily ends by midnight! You must try the wooden tram into Soller, so cute, but not accessible but got help to put scooter on, no problem. Lots of amazing walks all around into the mountains, but the guides and leaflets do understate distances. I even braved part of th walk on my scooter towards Soller, and was rewarded with amazing views and the sound of hundreds of goats and their bells! Priceless.
