These apartments are absolutely appalling! We arrived around 6.30am, to be greeted the actual hotel not apartments, which is around 250 metres from the actual apartments.
The night porter could not speak a word of English, therefore couldn’t understand us nor could we understand him. Arrived at the actual apartments around 30 mins later as we could not find them. There was mould and mildew on the ceilings. Everywhere! We were really looking forward to a nice sleep...pah! Fat chance of that. The room was awful!
Table was hanging off the wall, fixtures and fittings (lights etc) were also ready to fall off. Room was definitely not cleaned before our use. Barely got an hour sleep. Plugged in my travel iron which I have used many times before, it started melting! An iron plate actually melted from these dodgy electrics! Then wanted to dry my hair after a very uncomfortable shower, then my hairdryer began to smoke! We really were not happy. We tried to resolve our problems by going to see our so called 'rep' (who didn’t even know where the nearest supermarket was!) He said our room was more than adequate for a self catering room, no way!
We then resorted to resolving the situation ourselves by speaking to the hotel manager (note the apartments and hotel were in totally different places) he said we could be moved to the hotel for an extra 70 euros for the 2 of us with breakfast!
Here, you will hate it. Pay the extra 70 euros if there are 2 of you and live in a little luxury with, breakfast!
We immediately took him up on his offer and went to grab our already packed cases. The hotel room was brill! Even had a sea view, everything felt so much cleaner and I was ready for my holiday. So a bit of advice from me, do not go self catering in the apartments.
