Mundial Club Hotel Reviews
" We have just returned from a 4 night... "
Submitted By: Mrs H
We have just returned from a 4 night break in Lloret de Mar and had a great time. The resort itself is great.
The hotel is in a good location and kept clean. Downside is the tiny swimming pool (with about 6 sunbeds and no room for anything else!).
We booked half board but only dined there twice (1 breakfast and 1 dinner). The dining room is very noisy and crowded and the food not very hot. The meals are served 8-9.30 for breakfast, 12.30-2 for lunch and 7-8.30 for dinner. Breakfast was awful. Dinner was edible but that is all we could say about it. That said, it was cheap.
The hotel itself is not in a noisy area. However other guests were playing very loud music and sitting on their balcony talking (shouting!?) to each other all through the night. Not a place to go for a restful holiday!
As I said before, though the resort itself is great and we are already planning our next trip to Lloret for September, we will not return to the Mundial.

Once you get to the rooms you find that the corriders are very dark, to the point where you cannot even read the numbers on the doors. The carpet runners are lethal so be careful if you are wearing high heels.
The rooms are plain. The balconies feel very unsafe and depending on which side of the hotel you are situated the views are very different. We spent the weekend staring at a building site.
Our rooms had no air-conditioning and were positioned along a busy street. The noise was unbearable at times. The first night we were there the noise was so loud we thought that a circus had parked up outside at about 3.30am.
The other guests were noisy and inconsiderate. Do beware. We had people jumping over our balcony to get to the room next door to us and screaming into our rooms with a megafone.
Pool is too small and there is only enough room for about 5 sunbeds.
The breakfast was edible however the dishes they offered in the evening were cold and very strange indeed.
We found the pavements outside trecherous and the area surrounding the hotel dirty and quite scary at night.
