One of the worst hotel's I've stayed...

One of the worst hotel's I've stayed in for a long time - sure its in a pretty place and very friendly staff.
BUT... the rooms are the smallest going ... can't open the door or the chest of drawers as double bed just about fills the room, one small window with bars and worst of all - behind the bathroom wall is the railway line and the room shakes when a train goes past.
Meals very pricey and poor... grounds tatty and weedy, pool cracked ... etc etc... save your money you'll find better and quieter B&B's.

I suppose its what you want from a holiday but I disagree with the other comments. Yes there is a railway line, it did not disturb us at all.
The pool is very good indeed with lots of sun loungers. The food was some of the best I have eaten, very Italian, if you want fish and chips with mushy peas sure you will be disappointed.
The staff are very friendly and very accommodating.
The room was clean and had a wonderful view from its balcony. The TV not so great but we don't go on holiday to watch the box.
The beach is down quite a few steps and is stony and rocky but the best for swimming and has a large terrace with lots of sun loungers and parasols.
Altogether one of the best holidays we have ever had, quite relaxing but enough going on now and again to entertain you.
Don't be put off by negative comments, I would possibly recommend that you go for a first floor room as the ground rooms open straight onto the pool area.
