Le Ginestre Hotel

Just returned from Hotel Le Ginestre-- had checked Tripadvisor before we left and appreciated the reviews, so felt compelled to tack on some additional observations: I'd like to comment in particular on the helpful, professional staff, that stood out in a part of the world not always known for its world-class service. I stayed at Hotel Le Ginestre in July 05 with my husband on our honeymoon, we had a fantastic time, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and we opted for a sea view room (well worth it !!) The maids were constantly cleaning but not in your face and very polite , the food was superb - the fresh fish was the best we have ever had ! We hired a car which was essential to see around the Costa Smeralda, a beautiful area . Porto Cervo is a 5 minute drive and well worth a visit , however we liked Baia Sardinia about 10 minutes further on... more
