I had to comment following the other comments. I stayed at the villa Frigiliana, and although there is some building work going on in the village, apart from that the stay was delightful.

Just returned from one week stay in Hotel Villa Frigiliana. Our party consisted of 2 adults, an 11 year old and a 2 year old. We found the staff to be extremely rude and very unfriendly.
