Perfect Position - Perfect Hotel
Having stayed at several Jury’s Inns around the UK and Ireland I had high expectations of the Nottingham version and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The hotel is well positioned – close enough to walk into the centre but far enough out to allow easy access by car without getting lost in Nottingham’s one way system. It’s also ideal for both Nottingham Forest, Notts County and Trent Bridge and a short cab ride to the racecourse and greyhound track. The staff could not do enough to help right from the manager to the... more
Excellent service
Jurys Inn is really well located both for driving and walking in and out of the city. A group of us stayed in the hotel for a special occasion and we found the staff to be especially helpful and the rooms and breakfast of a very high standard.
Great value for money
Stayed here a couple weeks ago. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Three of us stayed in the room and there was ample space. The staff were friendly and helpful, bringing up extra towels to our room immediately after we requested them. The breakfast was excellent! This hotel provides great value for money and I will return when I next visit Nottingham!
Nice time in Nottingham
I spent two nights in jury's and would highly recommend it for location, value for money and the high quality of the service. The rooms were spacious, very clean and thankfully the hotel was flexible regarding check out. We were late checking out but the cleaning staff were understanding and friendly and put us under no pressure. Overall there was a nice atmosphere in the hotel, it was relaxed and friendly.
Pleasantly Suprised
We stayed just one night in hotel as we were going to the nearby Nottingham arena to watch a concert. We found the Hotel to be very modern and clean and well kept and the staff very helpful. The hotel is situated 3 min walk from station and about 10 min walk into city centre Our only down side was the building works on the adjacent building, which meant the view we had was not good and also not private as my wife found when she opened the curtains to find a builder looking straight at her at 8 floors up. Also we found the... more
Great, convenient, business stop over
One night stop over for business- excellent, clean, spacious room. Extremely handy for the train station- a 2minute walk if you leave via the station street exit. No room service but facility to order food via telephone and collect to eat in your room- very handy if travelling alone. Only complaint would be about breakfast- poor selection and reception staff's English wasn't so great! Other than that would recommend and would stay there again.
A no nonsense great hotel
Very prompt and friendly staff. Great location. The rooms were clean and served the purpose for a weekend away. Can't comment on parking as i took the bus. We didn't eat in the Hotel but the menu looked adequate for an Inn, Overall, it can't be faulted and its brilliant value for money.
good location
Very central location, and a reasonable price. Quite a large hotel, so would be good for big group bookings. The room was clean enough, although more towels would have been nice. The bar prices were ridiculously expensive, but the hotel was welcome to post-night out drinking (including with people who weren't staying at the hotel) so it's swings and roundabouts. I'd stay there again.
You won't do better for the price
Stayed here with some friends recently and was amazed at the standard of accomodation for the price paid. Location is fine - 5 minutes walk from the station and the tramstop and 10 minutes walk to the south of the city centre. If you're feeling idle, the tram will save you trudging up through the sloping city centre for a mere £2.20 a day. For £60, we got a room with a comfortable double bed and single bed, with views across the canal towards the city centre. Plenty of space for luggage, decent TV and the room was fresh, modern... more
Decent Hotel
We stayed one night at this hotel while in England for a family wedding. It was convinient to the venue and the rate was decent (70 Pounds for triple including breakfast). The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. It would have been nice to have been informed about using the room key to put on the electricity. My parents room key did not work at 1:00 am when we arrived back after the wedding. An inconvinience but not the end of the world. As previously mentioned the towels are few and far between and very thin. The breakfast... more
