Relaxing for Business Travellers
The Hotel is set in charming countryside and easy to find as it's just off the main road. Plenty of parking and pleasant staff to check me in. The room was clean and comfortable with french windows which opened out onto a green bank with rabbits in abundance, unfortunately the weather didn't allow me to have them open! I ordered room service which was delivered promptly and whilst the main course (Curry & Rice) was good value for money I was a little disappointed with the Peach Tart - small, poorly presented and I think overpriced... more
Perfect, Could Not Be Better
Me and 12 other girls stayed in the log cabins at Kenwick woods for 3 nights for my hen weekend. It was completely perfect. The cabins are gorgeous, immaculately cleaned, and so well equipped. We did have a slight problem with hot water but it was sorted immediately. The spa was amazing, lovely sauna and steam room and i reccomed the mini me treatments in the beauty salon. There was always pleanty to do, and every facility well within walking distance. I will deffinately be returning, not just for a girly weekend but as a couples holiday... more
THE WOODS, KENWICK PARK
I stayed at The Woods which is the new part of Kenwick park. My first impressions of Kenwick park itself was that it's a little dated. Well the spa area we saw was anyway. We then found our way to The Woods area which is about a 2/3 minute drive from the hotel itself. The road to it was a little rough and not very well signposted. Where the log cabins are set is lovely. There was 22 of us as it was my friends Hen weekend. We were in number 63 and the others had 62, 17 and I forget the other. Number 17 seemed a little... more
most uncomfortable bed ever
This place is in great need of refurbishment The bed was so uncomfortable you could feel every spring in the mattress. My wife is now suffering with a bad back The general lack of maintenance is apparent in the torn wallpaper, cracked walls, rotten and unpainted window frames, dirty and missing paintwork where it has been rubbed away over time. The food was expensive and not that brilliant. My stay was as a result of winning a prize draw in the works christmas raffle- two nights bed / breakfast and evening meal - we... more
Great place to relax
We recently enjoyed a 2 night break at Kenwick Park Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, we included included a pamper session at the Spa and this really helped to set the relaxing tone for the weekend. The food in the Hotel was excellent, the hotel is situated in very nice woodland overlooking a golf course, but as we are not golfers we visited the town of Louth, which is a very pleasant old town to visit and mooch around. We will be revisiting in the near future
This hotel could be so nice
Set in beautiful countryside beside a golf course outside Louth, I had high expectations on arrival. Everything was disappointing - the room needed refurbishing and the food was average. The staff are in desperate need of training and meals are spent listening to their conversations. Don't stay unless you have to.
good value and friendly staff
We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting relatives nearby. We shared a room with two double beds with our two children aged six and nine. The room was clean, well equipped and of a decent size - the double bed was rather on the small side for two adults but that would be our only quibble. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We didn't eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant as we were visiting family - however the buffet breakfast was really pretty good with plenty of fruit, hot food, pastries etc... you could also... more
Fine
We have stayed at Kenwick Park many times over the years. Our opinion is that serious investment is now needed, as the hotel is looking pretty shabby. The staff are loads more friendly than they used to be.
Fawlty Towers
A real posh Fawlty Towers. Don't believe me,just take note as you stay there and observe carefully. It frustrates you. Stay at the Brackenborough Arms instead,I do
Great for grown up breaks
Just spent a weekend enjoying the peace of the hotel. Attentive staff, lovely surroundings, great food in bar and restaurant. Rooms are comfy. Great golf course and leisure facilities with beauty spa. Wouldn't be great for kids or teenagers as not much for them. Louth is 29 miles from Lincoln and 7 miles from coast.
