" The hotel was only half open as it... "

The hotel was only half open as it was pre-season with no local shops and high drinks prices in the bar - it did have lovely sea views though but make sure you get one of the end rooms with balconies large enough to actually sit on. Meals on half board were basic but nice - the nutella cake in the mornings was fab!

Ostuni is the best place to visit in the area, a lovely white washed old town up on a hill. also, the gottoes are well worth a visit but check the English speaking tour times before you go as there aren't very many so you may end up waiting around a long time.

Overall the area is still developing as a tourist destination and I’m sure that it will eventually be lovely.
