Citywest Hotel and Golf Resort

Stayed in this hotel while working in the Dublin area and found it to be an excellent place to stay, especially if you like golf.
It's got a PGA standard course and another course if you’re not up to that standard.
The staff are great and very attentive to your needs.
With 4 restaurants you can have a different foodie experience every night and it's all excellent fare.
Even if you don't play golf it's good to just get out and walk around the complex, which has pretty flat walkways all around it and great scenery.
We were working long days and it was pleasure to get to the hotel and enjoy the facilities like the gym, pool, sauna and Jacuzzi and even the broadband was included in the room rate.
The minute you pull up outside you know this is a good hotel, the car park had 2 Rolls Royce and a stretch limo sitting out front and there were 6 helicopters sitting on the landing area.
OK we got a good deal on the rooms which had a King Size and a Single Bed in each but even at full rate you'd be happy.
A short walk into the village gives a taste of the real Ireland.
Handy for the west Dublin business park, if you don't want to take your car it's only about 9euros for a taxi. Only problem is it's a bit far from the city centre if you fancy a night out, but at least you won't be bothered by the stag and hen nights that invade the city centre at weekends.
I'd rate the food as Excellent.
Cleanliness excellent.
Staff Faultless.
Facilities everything you'd wish for in a hotel.
Location 9 / 10 only because a long stay might have you hankering for a trip into town.
Would I stay there again? Without a doubt, I'll be taking the wife next time though and making it pleasure instead of business.
