Quality Hotel

First time I had stayed at this property, and fingers crossed, the last. Truth be told, it was booked because it was cheap and convenient, but that doesn't excuse the rusty fittings in the bathroom, the bedroom so small that it was impossible to swing a cat, the foul smelling corridors (the rooms may be no smoking, but people MUST be smoking in the corridors as they smell disgusting). I had my 21st birthday party at The Quality Hotel 2 years ago. Whilst the rooms are quite expensive, my guests were given a discount on the room rate and not charged for breakfast which is usually seperate. The rooms were well equiped and nicely decorated. The breakfast was an all you can eat style with staff available to serve hot food. The food was of a very high quality and just what I needed the morning after my party! My husband and I stayed in the Quality Hotel in Wigan when visiting relatives there a couple of years ago at Christmas. The rooms were overpriced, the decor shoddy and the lifts stank of sick from a Christmas party that had taken place there the night before.
